About

Raised in Ukraine and now studying in the United States, Anisiia believes the law is only as strong as the people who defend it. That conviction shapes everything: Model UN debates, legal internships in New York and Kyiv, humanitarian work in Ukraine, and leadership on campus.

Currently completing an independent research project, Illusions of Universal Rights, as part of the Distinguished Scholar Diploma in history with a focus on law.

Illusions of Universal Rights

An independent research project examining the distance between the rights promised in principle and the rights people experience in practice. The work reflects a lifelong interest in how law, history, and political reality intersect, and it forms the foundation of the Distinguished Scholar Diploma in history with a focus on law.
